Custom order pieces of furniture or complete buildings/seating areas can be made for schools, businesses and community spaces The creative process starts with a conversation to explore a range of design and cost options.
I recently had the opportunity to Collaborate with Slated Row school, where we transformed an unloved, ugly, disused Bin store into a cool chill out space with built in seating, all covered by an elegant curved gazebo..I’ve used the Beam of a Victorian railway carriage as a jig to get the shape I wanted and glued the whole thing together with external waterproof glue.

These are examples of my other commercial work. Once the design and materials are selected, the building starts. Any modifications or alterations are all all included.

RESTORATION
Up-cycling with love is my passion, I can bring back to life a treasured piece and restore a family heirloom – whatever it is, it’s worth it!

OUTDOOR HOUSES
Outhouses and sheds are a lot of fun and with my added stamp they can be real eye candy. I recently was commissioned to build a Bike Box for a leafy suburb in London and whilst I love my reclaimed work on this occasion I used clean lines and new materials to match the clients requirements. I topped the roof with with a beautiful green sedum full of pink and yellow flowers to set the whole project off.

With sheds and outhouses I generally take an understated route, letting the character of the timber be the feature or use a combination of custom colours and bring the whole piece together using interesting or unusual door handles and hinges.

RAILWAY CARRIAGES
Renovating railway carriages brings individuality and charm to any outdoor setting. I pride myself in giving a second life to these wonderful pieces of history that can no longer travel but burst with character and charm. I sprinkle added personality with features such as coloured glass and pressed metal designs.
I was so chuffed my “Carriage 355” was featured at last year’s (2023) IF Festival in Campbell Park installed in collaboration with Bridgman & Bridgman who topped the little guy off with a beautiful sedum roof.
